The photograph below left shows the tunnel which is being built to divert the highway away from Sword Gate Pass. Below middle shows the rebuilt flagstone road in Hike 8. Below right is a photo of the kitchen in the farmhouse recommended by my guide. The photo on the top right shows the same farmhouse and the one on the bottom right shows the characters written on the farmhouse wall, Nong Jia Le, meaning Enjoying Farmhouses.
